Meet some of our core team - the wonderful people who keep Paws Rescue Qatar running!
Paws Rescue Qatar is powered by volunteers, foster homes, fundraisers, transport helpers, and supporters who keep the rescue running day to day.
A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who has supported us along the way. Whether you've fostered an animal, helped with admin, walked a dog, helped at an event, visited the centre, donated your time, or simply lent a helping hand when it was needed most, you have played a vital role in changing lives. Every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, has made a difference, and we couldn't do what we do without you
Alison
One of our founding women, animal rights activist, adoring mum to non-fluffy and fluffy babies! Nothing will drown out her inner voice when it comes to her passions and values…..nothing. Managing her own busy family life, from afar, Alison overseas the day to day running of our centre and manages intake and adoptions.
Humphrey
Our dog whisperer! With a natural gift for understanding dogs and a calm, reassuring presence, Humphrey has earned his reputation as the centre’s very own dog whisperer. Originally from Kenya, where he worked closely with wild animals, he brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep respect for all. With Humphrey the dogs certainly know they’re in good hands and so do we..
Zameer
Behind the big personality and endless jokes is a heart that beats for every animal in our care. As the main animal handler at the centre, Zameer is always on hand to provide comfort, care, and a helping hand whenever it's needed. Whether he’s wrangling energetic dogs, reassuring nervous newcomers, or welcoming visitors, his dedication never goes unnoticed.
Carl
Whether he's organising a packed-out pub quiz, rallying supporters for a marathon or dreaming up his next mad fundraising challenge, Carl is always at the heart of the action. Carl has been a loyal supporter of the ours for years, always willing to go the extra mile (sometimes quite literally!) He helps a lot with the operational side of our centre too.
Caroline
To call Caroline "just a volunteer" would be doing her a huge disservice. For years, she has been a dedicated and committed part of the our family, generously giving her time and energy to our cause. She is always ready to lend a hand, offer support and spend time with the animals and our animal handlers when needed. From being a devoted mum and wife, to taking care of her own animals at home in and in the community, Carolines compassion is always there!
Ajay
The backbone of our feline team! While he may not be the loudest voice in the room, Ajay lets his dedication and hard work do the talking. As the go-to person for all things cat-related, he works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every feline in our care receives the attention, comfort and care they deserve. He is reliable, hardworking and always focused on the task at hand. Ajay is the definition of someone who gets on with the job and gets it done.
Tori
Our social media wizz! Her passion for giving animals a second chance knows no borders. From facilitating international dog rehoming efforts to championing rescue stories online, Tori combines her love for animals with her tech-savvy creativity. As the driving force behind our social media presence, she ensures every wagging tail, happy ending and important message reaches the people who need to see it.
